Total Solar Irradiance and Stroke Mortality by Neural Networks Modelling

The purpose of this study was to examine the potential effect solar energy on vascular stroke mortality in a Greek region by using neural networks analysis. time period studied from 1985 1989. We employed Active Cavity Radiometer Irradiance Monitoring (ACRIM) data as main representatives total irradiance (TSI) and correlated them with deaths obtained Piraeus City Registry. ACRIM (parameters included TSI, TSI uncertainty, EPOCH: given ACRIM) were Principal Components Analysis (PCA), regressions, and, finally, networks. most important parameter for years 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989, while year 1988. When considering entire 1985–1989, key emerged ACRIM. Neural are useful tools exposomic investigation regarding strokes.
